How to Store Your Pieces

Store jewelry in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and humidity to prevent tarnish. Always clean pieces before storing to remove oils and residues. Use soft-lined boxes, pouches, or anti-tarnish bags to avoid scratches and air exposure. Separate pieces to prevent tangling—hang necklaces or lay chains flat, and use dividers for gemstones/metals. Include moisture-absorbing packets in storage containers. For security, keep high-value items in a protected space.

Make Your Jewelry Last Longer

Proper jewelry care isn’t just about sparkle—it’s about preserving memories. Different materials demand unique approaches, and skipping these can lead to irreversible damage.

Diamonds

Clean monthly with soapy water and a soft brush (skip ultrasonics for fractured stones), check prongs, and keep grease-free.

Pearls

Wipe gently with a damp cloth after wear (never submerge), store flat away from perfume/heat, and re-string every 2–3 years.

Gemstones

Clean with mild soap, lukewarm water, and a soft brush; avoid harsh chemicals, ultrasonics and impacts

Sterling Silver

Store in anti-tarnish bags away from moisture, clean tarnish gently with a silver-polishing cloth and remove before swimming or sweating.

Gold

Avoid bleach and scratches by removing during sleep/sports, clean with mild soapy water and a soft cloth, and store pieces separately.

Corded Bracelets

Keep your corded friendship bracelets clean by occasionally washing with a soft sponge and mild soap, in lukewarm water.
